The reason this is not posted in the in house is because if you have not registered for the 2009 season you can not see the in house postings. If you are playing for the Lions in 2009 you veterans need to register now. If you have their numbers call them. Veterans spots are only given to them if they register and have turned in all their equipment. Guys this year is not going to be like last season. We have 49 players on the roster as of right now. With 30 of them being rookies. That is not including who shows up at the door Saturday. So Veterans Register by Saturday or you may not have a spot for the 2009 season. Guys in red have turn in equipment, but have not registered. Guys in green have to do both. Guys in black just have to register. Guys with ^ quit and must get approval to come back. 2008 Captains have a * by their name.

Here are the veterans that need to register if they plan on playing:
Yelle, Matt
^Sortor, Justin
Garner, Chance
Palmer, Aric
Thomas, Andre
^Smith, Ryan
Liggins, Akelius
^Bieganowski, Danny- Not Playing
Haynes, Lazarus - Not Playing
Hill, Tomonta
Pritchett, Leon
Yelle, Danny -Not Playing
Burchell, Robert- Not Playing
Towns, Brian- Not Playing
^Peters, Lee- Not Playing
Warren, Doug-Not Playing
Bannister, Anson


This is not a come when you want and do what you want team any more. You are either DEDICATED or you are a spectator.

We have 70 players on the pre-season roster as of right now. With 40 of them being rookies and 30 vets. With 19 still not registered. Vets have until Feb 3rd to register. Free agents have until Jan 30th to register. Anyone not register by there date listed above will not be playing for the Lions this year.
